Title: Navy Clinical Psychologist (Active Duty)

Organization: U.S. Navy Healthcare

Location: Worldwide (U.S. and international duty stations)

Overview:
As a Navy Clinical Psychologist, you’ll provide essential mental health services to Sailors, Marines, and their families while serving in a dynamic and mission-driven environment. This role offers the opportunity to practice high-impact psychology, lead multidisciplinary teams, and build a career that combines clinical excellence with global service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and diagnoses
  • Provide individual and group therapy across diverse populations
  • Support operational readiness by addressing mental health needs of active-duty personnel
  • Collaborate with medical teams, commanders, and support staff
  • Participate in research, training, and leadership development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited program
  • Completion of an APA-accredited internship
  • U.S. citizenship (required for commissioning)
  • Eligibility for state licensure (or currently licensed)
