Meet Your Warriors at Work Mentors
Warriors at Work is Merrimack College’s signature co-op program, giving students the opportunity to complete a full-time, six-month, paid co-op experience at top companies — while earning academic credit and staying on track to graduate in four years. Through partnerships with organizations like Fidelity Investments, Amazon, Raytheon and Walt Disney World, Warriors at Work connects students with real-world, hands-on experience that translates directly into career success.
A cornerstone of the program is mentorship. The alumni below have been where you are — they’ve navigated the experiential learning landscape , built their professional networks and launched careers at some of the country’s most respected employers. As Warriors at Work mentors, they’re here to share their insights, expand your professional network and help you make the most of your Merrimack experience. Students who have engaged with mentors through the program have seen meaningful results, including:
- Expanding their professional networks through mentor-facilitated introductions to industry executives, alumni events, and employer partner gatherings.
- Securing internships as early as freshman year, with mentor support helping students build the confidence and connections needed to stand out earlier in their academic careers.
- Landing competitive co-op placements at prestigious organizations like Draper Laboratory, MassDOT, Dell Technologies and Walt Disney World — opportunities often made possible through mentor introductions and guidance.
- Receiving full-time job offers upon completing their co-ops, with starting salaries approximately 10% higher than peers who did not complete a co-op experience.
