The Student Government Association at Merrimack College acts as a liaison between the student body and the administration. The SGA at Merrimack College gives the administration a representative opinion of the students. We help make important decisions about how our college is run currently and how our college will be run in the future. We take the suggestions of our peers seriously and do our best to present these suggestions to the administration in a productive way.
The SGA is comprised of 50 student seats. The members are representatives of each class at Merrimack College, as well as specific seats for international, diversity, athlete, and commuter senators. The entire SGA body meets weekly. These meetings are overseen by an Administrative Advisor and the Executive Board, comprised of the Student Body President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Publicist and Member at Large.
Our weekly meetings are held every Tuesday at 4:30 pm in The Hub and are open to all students, faculty, and staff.
