Logan Green ’23 an environmental science and sustainability and environmental operations major and mathematics minor, ran the 2023 Boston Marathon! He ran for the Glen Doherty Foundation, that helps ease the transition for military veterans by providing education, training, and scholarships. He stated, “I learned that training for a marathon takes up a lot of time and can be hard to train on top of taking a full course load. It is totally manageable and involves strong time management skills. Running improves my mental health and well-being, which helps me succeed in classes and social life. If I didn’t run, my mental health wouldn’t be as good therefore affecting my academics and social life.” You can also find Logan at Merrimack as an Admission Ambassador, FYE Mentor, Math TA, in the fraternity Kappa Sigma, and on the club running team.
