My name is Danielle Pintone, I’m currently a DMD candidate at Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (Class of 2027), attending through the U.S. Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP), where I serve as a commissioned Second Lieutenant.

I earned my B.S. in Biology (with minors in Chemistry and Bioethics, Summa Cum Laude) and an M.S. in Biology (focused on Biotechnology & Biomedical Science) from Merrimack College. During my time there, I served as a Presidential Fellow in Dr. Charlotte Berkes’s lab, gaining hands-on research and leadership experience.

Before starting dental school, I worked as a dental assistant at PDA Dental Group, where I refined not only my clinical skills but, crucially, my communication abilities. I excel at active listening—understanding patient concerns and anxieties—then translating technical procedures into clear, empathetic language. I’ve also learned to collaborate effectively with dentists and team members by anticipating needs, offering concise updates, and maintaining open, respectful dialogue throughout patient care.

Driven by excellence, service, and innovation, I’m dedicated to advancing oral health, fostering trust and comfort in the clinic, and mentoring future healthcare professionals.
