The Worcester Art Museum is seeking a meticulous and proactive Human Resources Associate to join our HR team. This full-time, non-exempt position is central to the smooth operation of our HR department, with a strong focus on payroll processing and benefits administration. Reporting to the Human Resources Solutions Partner, the HR Associate will play a key role in maintaining accuracy, equity, and positive employee experience across the Museum.

We are looking for someone who thrives on precision and is naturally inclined to notice inconsistencies, errors, or anomalies—whether in payroll data, benefits records, or employee documentation. This individual will be the first point of contact for staff HR inquiries, providing thoughtful and timely support while ensuring that all processes meet regulatory and internal standards. Responsibilities include processing bi-weekly payroll, managing benefit enrollments and changes, maintaining confidential records, and supporting recruitment and onboarding activities.

The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the confidence to raise questions or flag issues when something doesn’t look right. Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft 365 is essential.

If you are someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys solving problems, and values a collaborative and inclusive workplace, we encourage you to apply and become part of our vibrant museum community.
