Kid Care offers an exciting afterschool program for elementary school students (grades K-5). Our program provides a safe and engaging space for children to learn, explore, and play after school. We are located in Arlington, Massachusetts.

As an after school group leader, you will play an important role in creating a positive and enriching environment for our children. You will help develop and lead engaging activities including board games, gym games, arts and crafts, science experiments, and more! Staff will be expected to assist with transportation to the program. This will look like riding the bus as a bus monitor and/or waiting with the kids at one of our schools while we wait for the bus to pick up them up.

Pay for Group Leaders starts at $22.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and assist with a variety of age-appropriate activities that are fun and engaging
  • Assist in setup and cleanup
  • Supervise students in a safe and positive manner
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians

You’ll Be A Great Fit If You:

  • Have experience working with elementary school children
  • Understand child development and can create age-appropriate activities
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience, enthusiasm, flexibility and a positive attitude!!

The Program Runs:

  • Part-time, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 2pm-6pm
  • Wednesdays 12:30pm-6pm
  • Specific schedule will be determined based on program needs
  • We are looking for staff to work at least 2 days a week, preferably more.
