Pastoral Intern, Music Ministry, Youth and Family. Haverhill Commons is a seven year old church plant opportunities for students to serve in both a general pastoral role and/or as a music ministry team leader. We currently have 2 full time staff members and 1 part time children’s ministry director. We’re a highly collaborative team with a relatively flat leadership model. Student interns who are interested in preaching can expect to contribute as editors on weekly sermons, and preach in our rotation once per month. Those looking to participate in our music ministry will have opportunities in both contemporary and traditional genres in themes that include: lament, justice, celebration, and neighbor love.

Haverhill Commons was originally planted by the Highrock Network of Churches. We seek to embody a unique set of values: humility, hospitality, curiosity, creativity, authenticity, and solidarity with those who suffer. Our ministry priorities center on local needs, including foster care, housing inequality, adults with disabilities, third grade literacy, and supporting women in ministry.
