Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to work with young girls and make a difference in your community? We are thrilled to offer you the chance to join us as a Girl Scout Outreach Leader starting this October!

Job Description:
As an Outreach Leader, you will lead troop meetings once per week during afterschool programs throughout the school year. Your role will be instrumental in providing a supportive and enriching environment for girls in grades K-5. It’s important to note that Outreach Leaders must be active Girl Scout members and will undergo a background check for the safety of our participants.

Requirements:

Active membership in the Girl Scouts organization

Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and fostering their development

Strong communication and leadership abilities

Ability to pass a background check

Flexibility to adapt to varying age ranges and program locations

Responsibilities:

Plan and lead weekly troop meetings in alignment with Girl Scout programming guidelines

Create and implement engaging activities that promote personal growth, leadership skills, and teamwork

Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where girls feel empowered to explore and learn

Collaborate closely with program staff, volunteers, and parents to ensure the success of troop meetings

Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate effectively with troop members and their families

Schedule:
Your commitment will involve working weekly during the school year, starting in October. The exact day and time of troop meetings will be communicated once you join our team.
