About the job

Minnesota FCA is seeking interns who want to make a difference in others, grow personally as leaders, and ultimately support the vison of FCA to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

This is a part-time position that will focus on Christ-centered leadership training, ministry opportunities such as mentoring high school leaders involved in their FCA campus ministry, as well as serving at summer camps. Interns will be responsible for raising part of their salary within Minnesota FCA guidelines. Minnesota FCA will provide all training expenses and ministry expenses for the program.

MINISTERIAL DUTIES

These responsibilities are critical to the FCA mission and this position plays a vital role in our ministry. FCA expects all functions and responsibilities outlined below to be carried out with a heart surrendered to serving God as a form of worship.

  • Agree with, and abide by, FCA’s Christian Community Statement.
  • Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord’s will for FCA.
  • Lead, conduct and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example so they are equipped to serve others.
  • Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
  • Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA’s Christian beliefs (see FCA’s Christian Community Statement) at all times.

Qualifications

  • Completed at least one year of college and be at least 19 years old
  • Sports participation in high school or college
  • A growing relationship with Jesus Christ

Internship Dates

June 2025 – August 2025 (10 weeks)

Hours per week

Approximately 15 – 20 hours (more when serving at camps)
