Job Summary
- May prepare or assist in micro grants applications for our Joint Biology Consortium fellows.
- Conferring with staff and others to provide technical advice, provide problem solving assistance and answer questions about the program and its goals.
- May prepare or assists in the preparation of periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
- Coordinating the JBC and Division Newsletter
- May assist in planning workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications.
- Interacting and maintaining liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
- Working on website updates for the JBC and Annual Faculty Review Database.
To qualify, you must have:
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1 year of relevant experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations
- The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
