Big Brothers Big Sisters of NH and Vermont focuses on creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships between adult volunteers and children.

As a program intern, students will gain hands-on experience with the enrollment process from start to finish. Responsibilities include shadowing enrollment interviews with volunteers and families, conducting background and reference checks, writing assessments, completing training, attending staff meetings, and collaborating with the team to create and pair matches.

Interns will also have the opportunity to explore additional aspects of the agency, such as social media and communications, grant writing, activity planning, and more.

This position is primarily remote but provides many opportunities for in-person involvement at events, match activities, staff meetings, and other engagements. Student interns are encouraged to participate in ways that feel most meaningful and enriching to them.
