Within Merrimack College’s Environmental Sciences and Sustainability (ESS) bachelor of science program you will select a concentration and explore the impact that human activity has on the natural systems of the planet. You’ll learn to rethink, redesign and re-create the way humans use natural resources.

Majoring in environmental studies and sustainability can lead to wide-ranging career opportunities in environmental justice, climate studies, conservation, environmental policy, environmental law, landscape architecture, environmental health, land use and planning, and environmental communications.
